running and stuff
Feb. 14, 2005 :: 11:18 pm
There was a girl at the gym tonight who was running. And she looked like a runner, you know? Fairly tall and slender with well-defined muscles and a sleek ponytail that looked sporty and cute. She looked like she really liked running, too. She kind of floated along with a nice long stride. I was kind of surprised to notice that her feet actually were touching the floor. I watched her kind of wistfully, wishing I could run like that, and less like the plodding pack animal I in fact resemble.

Ah, well. I will keep running in circles, and maybe someday I will like it. :)

Oh, Diet Vanilla Pepsi, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. You have no calories, but you are fizzy and sweet and much more vanilla-y than Diet Vanilla Coke. If you were only as healthy as water for me to drink, then I would not feel guilty about drinking far too much of you...

AAAAAAACKK!! A commercial came on TV, and it had pictures of all these couples, like cute little old people leaning their heads on each other's shoulders and stuff. And I was about to die of cuteness, UNTIL it announced that it was a commercial for one of the ever-growing number of ...um, male performance boosters. Ergh.

Maybe this is how guys feel about tampon commercials.

In other news, I had a very nice Valentine's Day. So, thank you. :)
